Made in Whitstable

JD Haigh's Exhibition at The Fishslab Gallery, Whitstable 2011.

This was an exhibition of the portfolio of work that I developed during a MA in Fine Art at the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury. The show at the Fishslab Gallery in Whitstable, ran for a week and attracted over two hundred visitors.

The Documentary is a record of the exhibition but it also provided the opportunity to explore some key themes that recur within my art practice. I am interested in the dichotomy between the still and moving image and the imaginative experience of the viewer of visual art, as a temporal, altered state of mind.
