Harbour Market Whitstable

Hi All,

The Harbour market is being redone with a new team running it and new huts. They are looking to make it more local with more hand made crafts, schools, local shops etc, involved. I have been in contact with the team running this and they are very keen for MIW to be involved. Moving Info for Open House

Dear fellow artists,



Unexpectedly we have recently moved house from 4 Tankerton Road to 27 Beach Walk, so unfortunately our listing for Number 15 in the Whitstable catalogue is wrong. We have managed to get our exhibition up in the new house and if you can manage to visit we would be delighted. Also we would be grateful if you could redirect any Whitstable trailers to our new address but we will put up a notice at our old address to redirect people across the road.

I agree the huts are rather small for painters, or printmakers or for those producing larger craft items.     Maybe a regular, say once per month, booking of the Umbrella Centre would work better. Ei…

I agree the huts are rather small for painters, or printmakers or for those producing larger craft items.  

 

Maybe a regular, say once per month, booking of the Umbrella Centre would work better. Either a Saturday or Sunday.  This allows artists to take tables and other than indemnity insurance there are no other costs. I was thinking of booking it and just posting an invitation to artists to sub let some tables - but if Made In Whitstable did it as an organisation it would…
