- About me:
- Hi there, I was a BBC war correspondent/TV presenter for 25 years or so, became unwell with Lupus and by some miracle discovered an artistic ability whilst I was in hospital. I retrained, got a degree in Fine Art at Chelsea last year. Have exhibited widely, shown a work in Tate Modern ( only for a day I hasten to add!!), had numerous commissions and have a few pieces on permanent show in central London. I work across the mediums, it is hard to squeeze my practice into a tidy explanation. I sometimes feel that I am nothing more than a conduit for the pieces I create.
I have always had a link with Whitstable, used to own a place on Island Wall. I have shown in town a few times, Show Off Gallery in Harbour Street. My husband and I have just moved to Whitstable and keep pinching ourselves to make sure it is not a dream!!! I am keen to become involved in the local art scene.
