Yes, do call in. There are two Lindas who sell wool and are involved with knitting in Whitstable. I don't think Linda Tiley does many craft fairs as she has to run the shop. See if she's the Linda you're thinking of!

I'll be getting there around 9am now. Oy Wah Chung - I think there will be limited space. We'll have to fit in what we can. Vicky has two stands for her photographic cards and Jan is bringing a hanging rail. See you tomorrow!

Hi Vicky, Jan and Oy Wah I've been speaking to Catriona and she is going to get us covered on the KCC insurance for public liability. I gather Vicky is getting there earlier as she has had to book an early car parking slot, so I might turn up…

About me:
Help - I can't stop knitting! Luckily I manage to sell a few items to fund my obsession. They are cardigans, jumpers, mitts etc for babies and young children, as they are quick to finish. I like to buy yarn which takes my fancy and then decide what to do with it.

new website for whitstable

Posted on August 6, 2010 at 9:30pm 1 Comment

Can I remind everyone who hasn't already heard - Whitstable has a new community website for news and comment called whitstablepeople.co.uk

It's owned by a big media group BUT the local freelance publisher is one of your very own Made in Whitstable members, so please support it! It may prove a good extra forum for arts and crafts people to promote your events etc.

just knitting!

I've just launched a new website to encourage other knitters to develop this craft. It's called www.justknitting.co.uk and has useful hints and tips. I really hope people find it useful. I've done it because I got fed up with having to spend ages looking around the internet for different bits of info about knitting. Do have a look and let me know if you think I should include anything else.
