Sort of decided to keep it on for the time being. It turns out there's a samurai battle re-enactment society based in The Tudor Tearooms after dark. An anachronistic setting, I know, but the eclairs are lovely and its partly to divert attention away from its more revolutionary ideals (to overthrow East Kent's current evil feudal system by chasing Julian Brazier into the sea pursued by seven samurai. BTW: There are more of us but we thought it would be more catchy for the Gazette headlines. Mind you, it'd go right over their heads and they'd have us down as illegal immigrants (albeit from the Kamakura dynasty) so what's the point, eh.).

hi Helen,
Thanks for appreciating my samurai gear. It was lovely to wear throughout the winter but now things have warmed up I can't seem to remove it and can't find the instruction manual. Also the headgear is so wide I have to stay in one room. I wish I hadn't chosen the shed. Anyway, it looks great and that's what's keeping me optimistic...at the moment.
